I'm Back!

I'm Ba-ack!!

Vacation is over.  I've returned from the wilds of South Dakota.

Near Harney Peak, Black Hills, SD

Stay tuned - I have lots of photos and stories to share, starting with my Hood to Coast relay experience.  I'm planning on burning some midnight oil to get those posts published in the next day or so.

Meanwhile, enjoy this photo taken from a hike I did in the lovely Black Hills of South Dakota.

  2. We went to the Black Hills a number of years ago and are looking foward to hearing/seeing more about your trip! It is one I have thought about doing again.

  3. We've been out there twice, really enjoyed it a lot. I just said to Wayne yesterday when I caught a glimpse of Mount Rushmore on TV that I still want to hike the Blackberry Trail across the road from "the Big Heads". When we were out there last year we started to go down it but he made me turn around because he thought we didn't have enough time to get into it. Steep and challenging, but next time I'm not taking "no" for an answer. Can't wait to see what you got up to! BTW, on my sixth try to get through the "robot" identification. You might want to turn it off to make it easier to leave comments. I just set my settings to allow only registered users to deter comments from anonymous users.

  7. Pam - thanks for your comment. I was getting spammed with viagra ads, that's why I turned the comment verification back on. But I don't like to do that to my readers, so I'm going to try your suggestion.
