The weather was also cool and stormy in the Phoenix area that week. <br />The Canyon is a spectacular place and we are overdo fo another visit, so I hope we can see it it again soon. A...I read every word and drooled over those photos. As i mentioned before I walked along the rim from Cedar Ridge to the visitor's centre. Even though it was a similar time of year, it was much warmer and without the wind although it did get much colder by sunset. So glad I have seen the Grand Canyon. Truly is a Wonder of the World. A little less painful but if I lean on it it hurts right away and there is a lumpy area there still. Feels like it's probably a ligament, hoping it will heal eventually as it doesn't hurt as much as it did and it doesn't impede anything I do.
